Caminito del Rey

El Caminito del Rey (The King's Little Path) is a walkway, pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro, near Ardales in the province of Málaga, Spain. The name derives from the original name of Camino del Rey (King's Pathway), abbreviated locally to el caminito.[1] The walkway had fallen into disrepair and was partially closed for over a decade. After four years of extensive repairs and renovations, the walkway re-opened in 2015. It has been known in the past as the "world's most dangerous walkway" following five deaths in 1999 and 2000. Hidden throughout are miles of peaceful, barely used tracks and pathways, many dating back to ancient times. Support for visitors wishing to hike or bike here is still relatively under-developed, There are few marked mountain bike trails, hiking paths or even up-to-date and accurate local maps, so navigation can be challenging. It means that only minimal tourists make it out into the countryside, so to this day you can still go for miles without meeting another soul - it's half of what keeps it so charming!

Cueva de la Pileta

La Cueva de la Pileta is linked to the Bullón family since its discovery by José Bullón Lobato (1870? - 1940), the farmer who rented the farm where he lives. It was a spring day in 1905 that José decided to explore a chasm next to his house from which every night flocks of bats came out. Its purpose was to find guano to fertilize the land and increase production, since it was seen and wanted to meet an income of almost half a ton of wheat per year. The chasm turned out to be the entrance to a great cave that amazed him, and in which he found bones, pottery pots and paintings on the walls representing animals and signs that he had never seen ... sitio web

Hot Air Ballooning over Ronda

When we think in the prettiest municipalities of Andalucia, Ronda is one of the first that comes to mind. Could you imagine the possibility to contemplate its beauty from the air? Is just the thing you will do throughout this balloon flight. We will start the experience at the first hour of the morning (8 AM, depending on the year´s month). Between the participants and the pilot, we will prepare the balloon and inflate it with a burner. You will be amazed to see how it grows in front of you! When descending on-board and start to elevate, we will be able to contemplate the Serranía de Ronda, Grazalema and the Sierra de las Nieves, an exceptional setting for our aerial route. We will reach Ronda and see the old town, the emblematic bull´s ring, the oldest in the world! And of course, we will see the spectacular Tajo de Ronda, that reaches 100 metres of depth. If the wind sometimes is capricious, and push us directly to the Ronda la Vieja valleys, we will also see Acinipo, the ruins of the great Roman theatre. Finally, we will land, and after picking up the balloon will give a breakfast and also hand out an accreditation flight diploma, per each participant. Then, we will take you back to the meeting point. A memorable experience!
